W.R.C.G. Challenge Match Competition
|
This Challenge Match against the Wakefield Club was the second time we had met them, the first time being declared void due to their non attendance.
The judge for the evening was Jim Hird from Mercury Movies.
Each Club entered 3 films with a running time no more than 45 minutes.
Leeds won the toss of a coin and elected to go second.
The first film was Wakefields Documentary entrant. Leeds follwed with their Documentary film.
Wakefield then showed their Holiday entry, again follwed by Leeds entry.
After a break for tea and biscuits the final Free Choice entries were shown.
Jim Hird gave his summing up and awarded Leeds the winners of both the Documentar and Holiday entries whilst Wakefield won the Free Choice entry.
Leeds therefore became the overall winner.
